Georgia On Our Mind

Crocheters, Happy Friday Little Luvin Stitches Friends! It’s still technically Thursday evening but it is almost midnight. I had to start my blog early because we are leaving for Macon, Georgia around 2PM and we’re both working in the morning. No rest for the weary. Mid Georgia Comic Convention here we come. We love Georgia. I wonder when peach season begins? Google.

The heat index in Florida has been around 106 degrees lately. If we are not melting, we are swimming. It does seem like I talk about the weather alot. You can’t help it though and you really never get used to the humidity here. Hurricane season seems to get longer and longer every year. Now it ends in late November. Several controversial laws went into effect on July 1st in the Sunshine State. I don’t like to talk politics so I won’t offer my opinion but this is what is happening:

  • You can carry a concealed weapon without a permit
  • Some anti-immigration laws
  • The bathroom you use must match the gender you were born with
  • Schools will begin later
  • Healthcare providers can deny you service based on their moral, ethical, or religious beliefs
  • Teenagers need a permit or driver’s license to operate a golf cart if under 18. 18 or older must have a valid ID.
  • Some Tik Tok ban
  • Some flag and boat law trumps your HOA guidelines

The End.

We had an extremely successful weekend in Tallahassee. My crochet hooks were flying off the table. We sold a couple boxes. It was our first time back in about 11 years so we were excited to have spent some time with friends. Thank you to the new & old clients who stopped by to say hello. We even debuted our COIN pusher. Ask me.

Don’t forget to change your notifications on Tik Tok so you know when I am going LIVE. It is after 12AM and I am exhausted. Goodnight all and until next Friday. Stay frosty!

RIP Georgie Porgie!
